Best Practices for Maintaining Your HVAC System

|

Making sure your homes HVAC systems are well maintained is critical to the lifespan and overall efficiency of your heating and cooling appliances.

Regularly check and change air filters

Air filters should be checked periodically, about once a month, for any dust build up. Depending on the amount of accumulated dust and dirt, you may need to replace your filter every 1-6 months. However, even if your filter can go months on end with no dramatic buildup of dust and dirt, it is not advisable to leave a filter unchanged for longer than a six month period.
